On March 15th 2021 Bath, introduced a Clean Air Zone to part of the city.
The objective of the Clean Air Zone (CAZ) is to reduce emissions within the zone and the city at a whole.
Older and higher emission vehicles will have to pay to enter the zone. Vans, amongst other vehicles, will have to pay £9 per 24 hour period if they do not meet the emission standards.
Our van fleet consists of efficient vehicles which are less than 3 years old, our vans are EXEMPT from the charge.
Do you have any electric vans for hire?
A question we are frequently asked regards electric vans.
We don't currently have any electric vans available for hire, but we are actively looking at extending our fleet with some electric vans, but we need to overcome some infrastructure concerns around charging at our current location.
Although we haven't been able to switch to EV's (yet!), we are fully committed to be an environmentally responsible local business - we already generate our own electricity from Solar Panels and use smart lighting to reduce consumption.
