VansGB is a local family-run company with customers all over the UK we take your privacy seriously. We aim to give world-class customer service to all our customers and that includes building and maintaining the trust or our customers new and old, so that when you give us any persoanl information you can be sure we are using it properly and transparently.

Our privacy policy will give you information about the types of data we collect, how we use it and what other companies may have access to it.

Data collected on our website

General forms

We have a number of contact forms across our website which enable site visitors to send us an email.
These forms require that you enter a name and an email address. We use this information to be able to respond and address you appropriately.
No data from any contact form is stored on our website or added to any mailing list without your consent.

Vehicle hire

When you book a vehicle your details are entered into our vehicle hire system provided by Prohire Ltd.
Some information, including name, address, date of birth and contact details are stored permanently in our hire system for easy access if you hire again.
No data from hire quotes/reservations/booking requests are stored on our website.
If you proceed with a booking some selected personal information is shared with third party companies in order to provide insurance and hire the vehicle. Hire customer data is used to create a 'customer account' which is stored in Prohire a third party software system.

We do not collect email addresses for the purposes of adding to mailing lists.

Online advertising

We use Google to place adverts across the internet to advertise our services in places where they are most likely to be seen by potential customers. Using a system called Remarketing, Google will deliver adverts to people who have previously visited our website. When you visit our website a cookie is placed in your browser which will allow Google to serve adverts to you when you visit other website which display ads from Google ad network.
